Postcard – No. B10824 – Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks

Postcard – No. B10965 – Like hundreds of cabins throughout the park, this cabin included use of the native lodgepole pine. Guests and employees can still enjoy Yellowstone National Park in its rustic setting as visitors from all over the world have since the late 1800’s.

Postcard – No. B10966 – This beautiful lodge sets a mere quarter of a mile from the shore of the beautiful Lake Yellowstone. This location is most often considered one of the most quiet and serene spots in the park. Moose and Bison can commonly be found wandering nearby.

Postcard – No. B13978 – Fishing Bridge, Yellowstone National Park. Where the Yellowstone River begins its flow from Yellowstone Lake. From Fishing Bridge, the Cutthroat Trout can be seen enmasse. At one time fisherman lined the bridge to try their luck. Now closed to fishing.

Postcard – No. B15125 – Fledgling Great Horned Owl. As you can see, this owl is well equipped for hunting mice, rabbits and other rodents. One must be very alert to spot this inhabitant of Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.

Postcard – No. B15130 – Lake Hotel as seen from a Scenicruiser tour boat on Lake Yellowstone. Loke Hotel, in Yellowstone National park, Wyoming, opened its doors to guests in 1891. Today, the hotel remains open as one of the oldest and largest wooden structured hotels in the United States.
